Best of breed sales analytics through Cloud9 Analytics

Sales operations are always under constant pressure to increase sales, convert leads, and identify opportunities.  The reality is that without visibility into a company’s sales information and the ability to look ahead, sales managers are blind to potential opportunities and how to properly manage sales pipelines. Although many BI solutions offer sales analytics and the ability to customize analytics for sales purposes, few offer best of breed sales analytics solutions.

  • Mobile email notifications identifying pipeline movement that includes deferred, closed/won, closed/lost, and deal adjustments for field sales managers.

Overall, the main advantage is the increased visibility into pipeline information and sales performance goals and the integration of various ERP systems to gain access to a broader set of data.  With solution providers such as LucidEra taking the same route and failing, it will become interesting to watch Cloud9 Analytics to see how they perform over time and whether they can succeed where their predecessor failed.

Aside from quick implementation times and low subscription fees for general users, Cloud9’s ability to expand into wider business areas and more deeply into sales analytics will help its future viability and its market share as well.  Because of the downturn in the economy and the need for organization’s to do more with less, the ability for businesses to implement sales and pipelines analytics quickly and get fast results helps companies justify their performance management spending. Therefore the short-term viability of Cloud9 Analytics will remain strong.
