On January 31st, LogiXML announces their newest product release, Logi 9, enhancing their current set of Web-based BI offerings.
According to Arman Eshraghi, Founder and CEO of LogiXML, "the advances in both the user interface improvements and Web 2.0 style features, coupled with the significant upgrade to the data integration elements of the platform indicates that LogiXML is asserting a leadership position in Web-based business intelligence with launch of the new Logi 9 BI platform." And realistically, Logi products are making a splash within the Web-based BI arena by taking Web 2.0 and social networking concepts into account and deploying them within their products. One specific example is Logi 9's new support for RSS feeds and widgets (i.e. those on iGoogle).
In addition to Widget support and Java platform support, LogiXML's new product offerings, such as Logi ETL and Logi Intelligence Server enable LogiXML to provide a more full BI solution that adds to it's front end offerings. This coupled with its recent partnership announcement with Dataupia, enables LogiXML to offer organizations both front-end and back-end components of BI.
