Talend Joins the Intel® Certified Solutions Program
Membership in the Intel® Business Exchange Will Give Open Source Data Integration Solution Immediate Access to Intel's Extensive Channel

LOS ALTOS, Calif.--November 19, 2008 --Talend, the first provider of open source data integration software, today announced that it has joined the Intel® Certified Solutions Program and will be included in the Intel® Business Exchange, a software marketplace for small and medium-sized enterprise customers.

The Intel Certified Solutions Program is powered by SpikeSource, a leader in automated software assembly, testing, packaging and updating. As part of the Intel Certified Solutions Program, SpikeSource has tested Talend's solution for security, performance, interoperability, maintainability and enablement for Intel technologies. This rigorous testing reduces vendors’ development costs and end-user support while providing customers with peace of mind as to the reliability of the solution running on Intel hardware.

Talend Open Studio, the industry’s first pure open source data integration solution, has been downloaded over 500,000 times since its launch in late 2006. Talend Open Studio combines metadata-driven design and execution with an easy-to-use graphical development environment to deliver better scalability at a lower total cost of ownership than traditional data integration or Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions. Talend’s technology and business vision shatters the traditional proprietary model and provides the flexibility required to meet the needs of all organizations regardless of their size, level of expertise or budgetary constraints.

“The stamp of a well-respected name such as Intel provides credibility to the Intel Certified Solutions Program as well as high visibility to innovative companies like Talend that are included in it,” said Bertrand Diard, Talend's CEO and co-founder. “As Talend continues its explosive growth, participation in this program gives us instant access to a huge market that can greatly benefit from the price performance ratio that open source data integration brings to the table.”

“Small- and medium-sized businesses depend on Intel technology to stay competitive,” said J. Scott Harrison, director Partner Programs Organization Intel Software and Services Group. “For those businesses, we hope that the Intel brand is a symbol of assured quality and that when they see the Intel Certified logo, they know that it’s a solution that they can trust.”
