Jaspersoft, the world’s most widely used business intelligence software, and HandySoft Global Corp., a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software and solutions, today announced that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is the first public customer using BizFlow® Advanced Reporting and is using it to increase operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
BizFlow is a web-based business process management suite (BPMS) that uses Jaspersoft’s JasperServer to provide process-driven reporting for government agencies and other joint commercial customers. Jaspersoft was chosen as the reporting partner over Crystal Reports and Cognos due to its ease of use and integration abilities.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), which regulates commercial nuclear power plants and other uses of nuclear materials, is saving 75 people hours a day and more than $1.5 million a year with BizFlow BPM and BizFlow Advanced Reporting. The federal agency’s deployment of integrated BPM and Business Intelligence (BI) was recently recognized by Gartner with the research firm’s Inaugural Business Process Management Excellence Award.
