Telcel chose Netezza to replace an existing system after considering options from Teradata, HP and other vendors. Working with partner Appliance Technologies México on the evaluation and implementation, Telcel found that Netezza's NPS was simpler, easier to use and more reliable according to tests conducted against other systems. Telcel was also able to deploy the Netezza appliance in less than two days.
