ELFS Shared Services, a business division of Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, has implemented Intuitive Dashboards, the multi-award winning Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard solution from Intuitive Business Intelligence, in order to offer NHS clients real-time debt management reporting and improved business operations through monthly performance KPIs and targets. The dashboard solution is integrated with ELFS’ existing eFinancials system from Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced), and provides individual clients with remote access to their real-time debt position, enabling clients to more effectively and efficiently manage cash flow, customer debt and invoicing alongside monthly performance KPIs with drilldown capabilities presented in a consolidated, interactive, dashboard platform.

In addition to the delivery of real-time debt management reports to clients down to individual directorate level, the implementation of Intuitive Dashboards also provides their clients with performance KPI’s, proactive shortfall alerts and trend analysis, enabling them to respond quickly and decisively in order to enhance organisational performance, aid efficiency, service delivery and cost-effectiveness. Future dashboard implementations will integrate with their helpdesk software, Hornbill SupportWorks, payroll software, ESR and across the Contempus AP workflow and OCR solution to optimise the processing and approval of supplier invoices. Intuitive Dashboards links directly into an ODBC database and can utilise the SAP Business Objects universes with eFinancials.
The implementation of Intuitive Dashboards internally has also seen a substantial improvement in ELFS’ typical reporting cycle reduced, affording ELFS a major competitive edge when submitting future bids for Shared Service projects.
