QlikTech, a leader in Business Discovery - user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), has today opened its new Business Development Hub to support the company’s expanding customer base of small and medium-sized public and private organizations (SMB) across Europe. The new centre, located near London at Winnersh in Berkshire, follows in the footsteps of the successful launch of QlikTech’s Business Development Hub serving North America. It also represents a further investment by the company to support its balanced business model strategy to service companies of all sizes.
The centre aims to service QlikTech’s existing customer base and expand into new opportunities with a telephone-based ‘go to market’ strategy. QlikTech’s current SMB customer base spans 17 European countries and will be supported via the Hub in 14 languages. The Business Development Hub organization is expected to fuel business growth in large enterprise accounts as well as manage the increasing number of inbound sales requests from small and medium-sized organisations.
QlikTech has already commenced recruitment for its new European Hub, which officially opens today, with 20 people hired for the launch, including Business Development Representatives and Territory Managers. During the latter part of the year, the Hub is expected to expand further.
Designed to bridge the gap between traditional BI solutions and standalone office productivity applications, the QlikView Business Discovery platform is able to scale with an organization as it grows, making it ideal for small and mid-sized businesses that need to implement the product quickly.
QlikTech has a long established position in the midmarket, an extensive partner network spanning 100 countries, and a substantial presence in the enterprise. With the recent addition of Business Development Hubs in North American and now Europe, QlikTech has the capability to effectively service both the smallest companies and the very largest global enterprises.
“In the past year, QlikTech has added approximately 5,000 active customers, both large and small, which is a testament to the positive business results users are experiencing,” said Richard Timperlake, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales at QlikTech. “The QlikView Business Discovery platform solves critical business problems for companies of all sizes, and its ability to scale to meet the requirements of large multi-nationals as well as early-stage and emerging companies, makes it a unique solution capable of growing with any organization.”
