Software AG Surpasses Its €1 Billion Revenue Target In 2010

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Software AG reported that it surpassed its €1 billion revenue target in fiscal 2010, one year ahead of plan. Based on preliminary figures, the company expects an approximate 30% increase in total revenue compared to 2009. Software AG expects a net income increase of ca. 19-20%, at the upper end of the higher October, 2009 full year prognosis. Full 2010 figures will be released on January 27th, 2011.

Good demand in the financial and public sectors for both Software AG’s data management business (Enterprise Transaction Systems) and the company’s new products that optimize business processes contributed significantly to the increased results.

The company also highlighted the swift integration of IDS Scheer and successful joint sales of projects with IDS Scheer as a further contributing factor to both revenue and net income growth.
