While business intelligence (BI) adoption is become more pervasive there still exists a lack of understanding about it, and in some cases disdain for it. Part of this disdain has to do with a lack of understanding how to properly use business intelligence and display relevant information, often resulting too often in failed projects. BI is important though and the more people understand it, how it can benefit them, and just what they should expect from it then the better off the state of BI will.
